Born in Kathmandu, Nepal, she realized that writing was her calling soon after she completed her academic journey in Science up to her master's Degree in 2020. In between, she worked as a scientific report writer, and editor and in various research roles related to her education degree, however, fiction has always been her favourite genre when it came to reading novels. In 2019, when she travelled to Ireland for the first time and started living there for a couple of years, one day she felt the urge to pour all the bits and pieces of stories that had been building up in her all along into a piece of paper. Therefore, she decided to take a break from her career for a year and let the story progress on its flow. Finally, when the time arrived that she was happy with the storyline within a couple of months of writing, even to her surprise that Ornithessa was already a book, she could not wait to send it out to readers.
The completion of the story was the turning point in her life because even though she had always enjoyed reading fiction and wanted to write a book someday, she had never expected it to be so soon for her, thus Ornithessa will be considered as the beginning of her career as an author and the story itself will be very dear to her because of some personal experiences and joy that filled her while creating it.

Aarati loves reading, badminton, walking, dancing, boating, singing, travelling and trekking into the hills and mountains. In that sense, she had always felt very close to the exploration of the world including people, places, foods and cultures. She enjoys taking long walks for days on risky trails without access to contemporary comforts, soaking up as much as she can before returning to her life of modern convenience.
